ILCS Rabat Alumni: Sami B.’s Career Journey
Sami B., an ILCS Rabat graduate, has always had a passion for human interaction, communication, and organization. From the very beginning of his career, he transformed this passion into a profession. In 2008, he started working as a freelance Event Coordinator, designing event concepts, negotiating with artists, managing logistics, and bringing projects to life from planning to execution. These early experiences helped him develop strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to perform under pressure.
In the summer of 2009, Sami expanded his horizons by joining Katha Organisation in India through an AIESEC Exchange Program as a Communication and Marketing Coordinator. During this international experience, he developed media and partner databases, strengthened communication initiatives, and contributed to increasing the organization’s visibility. Working in an international environment also allowed him to build a global network and gain valuable cross-cultural communication skills.
Upon returning to Morocco, Sami joined Motiv’Ad Agency as an External Communication Manager, where he managed client communications, coordinated promotional campaigns, and contributed to strengthening brand visibility. This role enabled him to refine his communication expertise and develop strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
In 2013, Sami’s career reached a new milestone when he joined the Royal Moroccan Football Federation as a Project Manager. Over the next five years, he coordinated major national and international sporting events, supervised logistics, signage, and operational planning, and successfully contributed to high-profile competitions, including the 2018 Spanish Super Cup held in Tangier. This experience further strengthened his leadership, project management, and organizational capabilities.
Since November 2018, Sami has been serving as an Internal and External Communication Officer at Crédit Agricole du Maroc within the Events and Sponsorship Department. In this position, he develops communication strategies, coordinates institutional events, manages sponsorship initiatives, and ensures consistency between the bank’s internal and external communications while supporting its corporate image and visibility.
Today, Sami represents an inspiring example of an ILCS Rabat graduate who has built a successful career through versatility, professionalism, and continuous growth. His journey across an international NGO, a communication agency, a national sports federation, and the banking sector demonstrates remarkable adaptability and a constant commitment to excellence. His professional achievements proudly reflect the values of leadership, communication, and innovation promoted by ILCS Rabat.
