ILCS students participation in the Hackathon ‘Cyberviolence in the Digital Space: Youth Responses’

The Higher Institute of Information and Communication (ISIC) and the Regional Commission for Human Rights Rabat-Salé-Kenitra (CRDH-RSK) are organizing the 1st Hackathon from October 27 to 30, 2023, under the theme:

‘Cyberviolence in the Digital Space: Youth Responses’

This Hackathon, which is a unifying project aimed at harnessing innovation to promote human rights, seeks to strengthen participatory partnership and to unite a generation of entrepreneurial scholars with expertise and excellence.

The objective of this challenge is not only to gather proposals from the talents of participating great schools and universities but also to connect students with societal issues.

The launch and award ceremony will take place on Friday, October 27, 2023, and Monday, October 30, 2023, respectively, starting from 4:00 PM at the ISIC headquarters in the presence of distinguished guests.

This academic event is organized with the participation of a consortium of universities and scientific research institutions:

  • Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences (FLSH, Rabat)
  • Faculty of Legal, Economic, and Social Sciences (FSJES Souissi – Rabat)
  • Faculty of Education Sciences (FSE)
  • Mohammedia School of Engineering (EMI)
  • National Institute of Posts and Telecommunications (NPT)
  • Higher Institute of Audiovisual and Cinema Professions (ISMAC)
  • School of Information Sciences (ESI)
  • National Institute of Statistics and Applied Economics (INSEA)
  • National School of Computer Science and Systems Analysis (ENSIAS)
  • Institute for Leadership and Communication Studies (ILCS)

On this occasion, 120 candidates, organized into 24 teams, will embark on the challenge for four days, and we look forward to their innovative project presentations on Monday, October 30, 2023.
